Effective January 1^st 2012, the Legal Resource Centre has changed its operating name to the Centre for Public Legal Education of Alberta (CPLEA).

We believe our new name better reflects our identity and purpose as a public legal education (PLE) organization.

100 new Canadian Legal FAQs posted, 85 drafted, over 130 updated
LRC helped host a visiting scholar from Beijing
90 volunteers included students, project advisory groups, legal writers, lawyers, librarians, teachers, and seniors.
Visitors of websites increased 8% overall
600,000 visitors to our website viewed over 2.4 million pages of information
