New Name, New Place, Same People, Same Priorities

Effective January 1st 2012, the Legal Resource Centre has changed its operating name to the Centre for Public Legal Education of Alberta (CPLEA).

We believe our new name better reflects our identity and purpose as a public legal education (PLE) organization.

LawCentral - Linking You to Legal Information, Education and Help

Friday, October 28, 2011

The Legal Resource Centre hosts LawCentral, a suite of three web portals: LawCentral Alberta, LawCentral Canada, and LawCentral Français.

What can LawCentral do for you?

LawCentral connects you to resources that will help you understand the legal system so that you know what to expect when dealing with a legal problem.

On LawCentral Canada and LawCentral Français:

  • a keyword search or Recherche par mot clé will lead you to the resources relevant to your selection and you are free to choose how the results display.
  • Site sections will lead you to resources that provide insight into the legal system and how it impacts you.

We welcome your feedback as we continue to refine and improve LawCentral further.

Thank you to the Alberta Law Foundation for funding this project to transform ACJNet into LawCentral.
